From The Beginning
Radio Hospital Inc. first opened their doors in Lima, Ohio back in 1933 under the founder Ralph DePalma. During his ownership, Radio Hospital became known for selling and servicing consumer electronics such as televisions and VCRs. It wasn’t until 1995 when Anthony (Tony) DePalma, Ralph’s nephew, obtained ownership of Radio Hospital and began transitioning the company into a thriving wireless industry.
Radio Hospital’s cellular business first started out as a one store location in downtown Lima, Ohio serving as a wireless agent for Cellular One. In 1997 Radio Hospital expanded by opening two more locations and eventually began operating as an Agent for Verizon Wireless upon Verizon Wireless’s acquisition of Airtouch Cellular. Radio Hospital now operates a total of 13 locations across Northwest Ohio including Archbold, Bryan, Defiance, Findlay, Kenton, Lima, Minster, Napoleon, and Wauseon.
We feel that our success as a company is due to the loyalty of our customers as well as the dedication of our sales team. Under our motto, “Neighbors serving neighbors” Radio Hospital is committed to providing each customer with an unmatched level of customer service.
